Norfolk artist, Karen Rowlands has a BA Hons degree in woven textile design. In her studio you will find detailed oil paintings of a wide range of subjects. Prints and cards of her work are also available. Taking up a large part of the studio is a George Wood 24 shaft dobby loom. On this Karen hand weaves with a variety of yarns, fine pure silk, cotton, wool and textured mixed fibres. Each length woven is individually designed and hand woven for the items to be made.
